Visits to your school

The Schools Liaison Officer can travel to your school at your request and run workshops, information sessions, and other activities.

Visits to your school can be stand-alone events ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours, for groups of up to 50 students from year 10 upwards. Presentations and workshops can be tailored to meet individual needs and cover a wide range of topics, such as student finance, the Cambridge admissions process, life at Cambridge, or how to choose a College or subject.

Of course, if you've already got an event organised - perhaps a Careers evening, a HE information event, or an Oxbridge conference - then we'd be happy to come and take part.

We are also eager for as many teachers, parents and advisors as possible to have access to these events and as such the SLO is more than happy to run events in the evenings or lunchtimes.

Wherever possible the SLO can also be accompanied by a current undergraduate and, in some cases, an admissions tutor or Fellow.

For more information, please contact the Schools Liaison Officer at slo@fitz.cam.ac.uk or via phone on 01223 332 063.
