Fitzwilliam aims to provide a fantastic environment for focused and relaxed study.
The College Library has a wide range of books, journals and resources available, with IT rooms and quiet areas for concentrated study.
Evelyn Suite (Medicine)
The Evelyn Suite contains resources such as skeletons, models, computers, microscopes and textbooks that aid medical and veterinary learning. It is used for independent study and revision, and by Medical Teaching Fellows for supervisions and meetings.
"It is a really useful place to come for revision as the microscopes and equipment are on hand and it saves us trailing down to the department when time is precious." - Katherine Fraser (Medical Sciences 2005)
College rooms are the most important study areas. All rooms are networked and have access to the internet.
Students may also wish to study in the College bar and around College, where there is wireless internet available. The gardens make a great place for individual study in the summer.
The Tutors offer personal guidance in time management, revision skills and studying.
Subject societies organise visiting speakers, discussion groups and other academic activities to broaden students' experience of their subject. Graduate students in each discipline are also a great source of advice and inspiration.
