Goldman Sachs Bursaries 2012-2013
Fitzwilliam College offers up to five maintenance awards of £1500 per year to Home and EU candidates of outstanding promise, who are admitted to the College in October 2012. The awards will be renewed for the duration of the Cambridge undergraduate degree, subject to satisfactory performance.
This financial assistance is provided by The Goldman Sachs Fund, established through the generosity of a former Fitzwilliam student. It is administered wholly by the College.
Candidates must first apply to the College through the normal admissions process.
On receipt of a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, prospective students will be invited to apply for a Goldman Sachs Bursary, providing the College with details of of their financial circumstances.
The Awards will be made by the Master and Tutors, taking into account information about the financial and educational background of candidates as well as academic achievement and potential.
By the terms of the Fund, the College will submit an annual report to Goldman Sachs on the progress of award-holders.
