LEPRA Talks

Sat, 05/05/2018 - 18:30
Upper Hall 1
Brought to you by Fitzwilliam College Medical and Veterinary Society.

Come meet the people who work with the disease on the field, and the people who manage the charity from its headquarters.

This leprosy awareness event is meant for anyone who has an interest in the impact of this disease on the world.

LEPRA is the biggest charity worldwide working on the eradication of leprosy, lymphatic filiarisis and other neglected tropical diseases. Check their website out at https://www.lepra.org.uk/

Polygeia from Cambridge works in close collaboration with Lepra, so it may also be an opportunity for you to get to know some of the members of this global health society!

If you're still not sold, come for a great drinks reception and good formal.

The event will start with a drinks reception and short talks from members of the LEPRA team at 18:30 in Upper Hall 1.

It will be followed by Formal Hall at 19:30 (booking required).
