Fiona Kessler, Fitzwilliam College Cambridge alumna, named UK media rising star

Fitzwilliam College alumna Flora Kessler (PPS 2008) has been named one of ‘30 under 30’ in the UK media industry.

Flora was among the 19 women and 11 men from brands, agencies and media owners selected as this year’s rising stars in the UK media industry. The list was announced earlier this month at a reception hosted by Campaign, a global business magazine, and Media Week. The 30 winners came from a wide range of companies, including Channel 4, the Telegraph Media Group, Twitter, and Procter and Gamble, where Flora now works.

Reflecting on the award and her time at Fitzwilliam, Flora said: "I was absolutely delighted to have been recognised by the media industry with this award. Having been active in the ADC and JMA Ents when I studied PPS at Fitzwilliam, after I left College I was looking for a job that would combine these creative and analytical aspects that I had so much enjoyed at Cambridge. Media has been a great career choice, with a mix of creative intuition and data, something which my time at university prepared me well for."
