What’s it about? In this session find out about the process of applying to the big summer internship and grad schemes. Discover what doing an internship is like and what you can expect to gain from doing one. Learn what the pros and cons of grad schemes are, which companies offer them, how you get onto one and what they might lead to. Hear from a panel of students who have undertaken summer internships or gone into grad schemes and can share their advice and experience.

What will I get out of it? Find out details and deadlines of the major schemes, learn if an internship is right for you and get top tips on applying. Every student who attends the session will get a handout with links to major internship schemes in sectors such as banking, engineering, policy, media etc, plus details of some of the major grad schemes.
