Christos Genakos is Professor in Economics and Policy at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
He is also an Associate researcher at the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) in the London School of Economics and a Research Fellow in the Industrial Organization programme of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).
He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the London Business School. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from University College London and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the National and Kappodistrian University of Athens.
His research focuses on applied microeconomics, with an emphasis on industrial organization and quantitative techniques for competition analysis and regulation.
He has published in many leading international peer-refereed journals, such as the Journal of Political Economy, Economic Journal, Journal of the European Economic Association, Academy of Management Perspectives and more. His research has been covered extensively by media.
He has advised many leading firms and international organizations on regulation, antitrust and pricing related issues.
