Veterinary Medicine Open Day
What is it?
Fitzwilliam College and the Veterinary School will be running a joint Open Day on Friday 30 August, which will take place from 9am to 4:30pm. The morning sessions will take place at Fitzwilliam and after lunch participants will travel to the Vet School (a 15-minute walk) for the afternoon programme. The day will consist of a range of talks, tours, a sample lecture and practical, as well as the chance to meet current students and staff.
The full timetable is available here.
Who is it for?
This event is for students who are planning to apply to university in 2024. It will be especially useful for potential applicants who have not yet finalised their choice of vet school or who simply want to know more.
Parents and supporters are welcome to attend the opening sessions, but the taster lecture (which begins at 11:10am) and all following sessions are only open to students.
